1. Provide definitions for SMPTE and Word Clock. What is the difference between these two synchronization signals in actual usage?

2. What must the engineer provide for when considering working on the same 24-track mix project in both Control Room A and B? Consider that automated mix is preferred in both CRs.

3. The O2R is logically organized but poses problems for the inexperienced engineer. Explain the general layout of the console and describe the way it functions.

6. The SoundForge noise reduction tool provides a useful graphical interface. Explain what kinds of information it provides for the engineer. Contrast the the use of this tool with the MicroTools dnoise.exe program.

7. What does the O2R project manager actually do? How can it be used in a session to help the engineer?
