Control Room Notes
When powering down, always turn off the amplifier first and then the power to the board. When powering up, turn the board power on first and then the power amp. This prevents speaker pops that can and have destroyed the tweeters in the speakers !
Always turn the amplifier on LAST and turn it off FIRST !!!
Remember that the monitor speakers in the control rooms are actually quite fragile (and expensive) instruments. If you abuse them, they can quite easily be damaged. Keep the volume under control. Practice safe mixing -- double check that your control room volume knobs and the stereo master are turned off when making patch changes.
