Jean Pallandre
Phonographist
Castanet, France

Like photography, phonography is an artistic practice. After recording sounds from different locations or in selected situations, Jean Pallandre composes in studio and records works which are the expression of his personal aesthetic. A composer and teaching specialist, he makes a practice of improvisation with diverse electro-acoustical devices: He participates in a number of collaborations for concerts and festivals, with musicians including Xavier Charles, Marc Pichelin, Martine Altenburger, LíQuan Ninh, Michel Doneda, David Chiesa, Jérôme Noetinger, Lionel Marchetti,

Ly Thanh Tien, Vincent Geais, Benat Achiary, Dominique Répécaud, Fabrice Charles, Laurent Sassi, Kevin Drumm, Thomas Lehn, Martin Tétreault, Emmanuel Petit, Wade Matthews, Agusti Fernandez, Alain Savouret, Rhodrie Davis.
